Because my husband was thrown in jail for one month for failure to pay fines, and the economy that is going to heck, I am forced into a situation where I either apply for welfare ( I dont want to) or ask you nice people for some help. My situation is no income for a month and I am a stay at home mom raising two innocent wonderful children. If you could help with any donation I would be grateful, my paypal is jmortiz_22@yahoo.com

I guess I didn't mention that I am disabled so I can't work.
My husband owes more in fines than he can pay so he got one month.
Thanks for your help everyone.

Dear JMortiz: I know that welfare is a hard pill to swallow, but it is designed for people going through a rough time. The department of social services is there to help women like yourself in this situation.
So, since you need money, I'd recommend looking at some opportunities for employment. Have you considered a Work At Home Mom type opportunity?
I'm a mother who works part time while going to school full time. I know it can be difficult to stay afloat, but I think if you look into the schooling, there are options for people like yourself to get an education and training for a job, and if yo uare low income and disabled, you are in a situation where more financial aid is available, and a lot of schools offer online classes.
Since you have a computer, have you considered working as a Work at Home Mom? A lot of parents do this while their kids are taking naps, after they go to bed, etc. If you are motivated, there is a way to make this work for you.
Here is a good website to check out. Good luck to you!

Sorry to hear of your hardship! It will get better, in the meantime the best you can do for your kids right now is get some kind of public assistance to tide you over. I don't know where you live, but here on the East Coast, once a person has been to jail it can be very hard to find work when you get out. You may be facing more than one month of lost income here.
While you are on Food Stamps and public assistance, take advantage of every free program you can to get an education, learn a trade, anything that will get you a good job. Also check out your child care options. Look at assistance as a temporary hand up, that is what it is there for, in times of emergency.
If you are disabled, there are other programs you could ask about that will help with career counseling There is always something you can learn about and do. You might discover a new career!
Do what you need to do for the sake of your children. Also do you have a church or other group that may help you out?

. Get a job. Pay your own bills. Stand on your own feet and give your children an example to follow. Time to quit being a stay at home mom and be a working mother. Raise your children as it is plain to see that your husband is a worthless pile of poo.
Quit begging for money.

No one's going to give you money on here.
Here's what to do...
Apply for welfare.
Stop getting internet and use that money for rent and food.
Sell your computer and all other non-essential things.
Get a job, even if it's something small (McDonalds always seems to be hiring- seriously)
I wish you luck, but that's all I can give you (well, that and the above advice).

go apply for welfare, obviously ..you do not qualify it or you wouldnt be asking for handouts from strangers..
I work full time, times are hard, I dont qualify for welfare and Im not asking for handouts..
wait, maybe cancell your internet and there is some food monbey, sell the computer too..
luxury items do not take precedence over basic needs...
you should be reported for this...

Who gets thrown in jail for failing to pay fines? Sounds like a Charles Dickens novel to me.
