Why do people cosider emo rock?

Emos r posers is there nebody who considers it rock if so ur a poser. i t is pop. Or really soft stuff.

Emo used to be rock. Look up Fugazi (the band that coined the term "emo"), Built to Spill, Modest Mouse (early), Q and not U, Sunny Day Real Estate.

Emo is one form of 'rock' music, there are many others for you to cream over. Who cares about labels anyway, get over it. Different strokes for different folks.
