Other Nazi-defined "undesireables" were also killed during the Holocaust....gypsies, mentally retarded, physically disabled,, intellectuals, Jehovah's witnesses, and countless others. These people numbered in the millions also.
Yet all we constantly hear about are "6 million Jews," as though they were the only ones that mattered. I would feel far more sympathetic and understanding of the Holocaust if Jewish people would INCLUDE those people, other than themselves when they speak and write about the horrors, devestation, and carnage of the Holocaust..
And why all of this "anti-semitism" uproar. Other groups/races/religions have also undergone untold horrors, yet they are not always crying "anti- this" or "anti-that" every single time someone makes what Jews perceive as an unpopular statement. If I say Jews own and run the media, I'm not making an anti-semitic statement. I am simply stating a truth...
If I say Blacks own hip-hop music I'm not anti-Black. I am stating a truth.

yes, you are right...Jews do acknowledge the sad fact that other than 6 million Jews who were killed...by the Nazi war machine...many other milions of ethnic and infirm, sick, older, homo-sexual, deviants--all human beings etc..etc..were also killed...the number runs in the millions and millions besides the soldiers on all sides of the WWII conflict. it is a sad story in the history of man-kind. please write the truth as much as you can investigate and research from reliable sources -- the point is Jews do acknowledge that other "entities" were killed...in this unspeakable horror called Nazi Germany.

Would you like a serious answer, or ridiculous as well as your question?

My serious reply would be that Jewish people DO acknowledge that loads of other groups had been suffered and killed systematically in the Holocaust. What do you want us to do? Cry the anguish and stories of other groups? Jews were not concentrated in the ghettoes or in concentration camps with other ethnic groups or nations. When we speak and write about the horrors, devastation, and carnage of the Holocaust, we obviously speak and write OUR experiences. Would you like the Jewish survivors to discuss the Gypsy suffer in the holocaust when they have no idea how did the Gypsies live? It is a totally unrealistic request.
Would you sympathize me more if I wrote a novel of an experience which I do not know? Would you ask a Jehovah's Witness to write a novel about a Jewish survivor? No, right? So, thanks, I don't need your sympathy.

You constantly hear about the "6 million Jews" because Jews were killed in crit mass, more than any other ethnic group (if we really have to get that low and compare this suffer to the other one) and were the most persecuted group by the Nazis; Hitler's campaigns were against Jews and Jews only.
About 2,500 - 5,000 Jehovah's Witnesses were murdered, Tens of thousands homosexuals were murdered, 70,000- 250,000 mentally/ physically disabled were murdered, 200,000 - 500,000 Gypsies were murdered, more than 1.5 million Yugoslavians were murdered, more than 3 million Poles were murdered, 5 million Russians were murdered (civilians and POWs), more than 5 million Ukrainians were murdered and more than 6,000,000 Jews were murdered. The difference is also by the different intentions that the Nazis had had for every group. While Poles, Ukrainians and Russians were about to become slaves (as far as the Nazis were concerned), other groups' destiny was death. And while Gypsies, Homosexuals and Jehovah's witnesses were about to be murdered selectively, the Jews' destiny was a total annihilation.

I am not going to write anything about the Anti-Semitism, 'cause you're not going to read it anyway, but let me tell you this: there is a whole difference between stating that Black people own the Hip Hop scene, and stating that Jews run the media. Suggesting that Jews control the "observer dog of democracy" is a lot more dangerous statement and I would like you to prove it.

My other reply would be "**** off".

Learn some history before asking a naive question like this. Yes, the Nazis killed other groups of people besides Jews, but Hitler's master plan was to eliminate the Jews from all of Europe. One example-there were 300,000 Jews in Poland before the war, and 30,000 Jews after the war.
By the way, although I thought your question was naive, you did not show your ignorance until that comment about the Jews owning and running the media.
You should read a book about the Holocaust written by someone who was there.

you're not stating a truth. you're stating a generalization. know the difference.

And if we're going to ask these kinds of questions, why don't we at all acknowledge the Native American Holocaust (SIXTEEN million, by the settlers aka us), the Japanese "internment" camps in US during the very same WW2, the fact that this war went on for >2 years before we joined in (and yet we claim our interest was benevolent; thank god for pearl harbor or the world would very likely be under different rule now), or even the 60-100,000 (depending on sources) CIVILIAN casualities in this current Iraq affair (where even IF there was ANY relation whatsoever to 9/11, that was only about 3,500 civilian deaths)? effing ridiculous.

Uhh, well, first off, you're being WAY stereotypical! How many Jews do you know? How many Jews have you talked to about the Holocaust? Yes, 6 million Jews were killed during the Holocaust. Do you know how many mentally handicapped, gypsies, or other types of people were killed during the Holocaust? I don't see that anywhere in your question.
And you're wrong in the second part of your question, too. Just about any group I can think of has claimed that people are "anti-" them. They just may not put it that way - they call these people racists, sexists, anti-Christian, just to name a few. You seem to have some sort of beef about Jewish people. What? Did you have a bad experience with Kosher food?

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are unique in rejecting the label of "victim". Instead, they look at the persecutions from Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, and countless other dictators and despots as part of their steadfast spiritual heritage, and as part of bible prophecy...

Even today, vicious anti-Witness activists work to spread slander and propaganda against this sincere Christian religion. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Jewish people do acknowledge that other groups of people were killed during the Holocaust. I am not Jewish, but I always think of Jewish people first when the Holocaust is mentioned, not because the other people mattered any less, but because the Jewish people suffered the most. More Jewish people were killed than the other groups.

let me see ...if I remember my history right..for the last 2 thousand years, the Jewish people are victims of hatred, genocide, racism etc...from Rome, the the Italian princes, Germany, the Russians and now from other islamic nations and just about anybode else..Yes in throughout history they have been reports of Mass Genocide of people (the Inquisition and others) beside the JEWS, but unlike those it stops! but the jews been hated by many for the last 2 thousand..and so so..

Why ? not sure but it could be because they got rich from loans and other ventures and people are jeolous of them...other reason are , other people just can't co-exist with another religion

My Reason - we should abolish Religion and life would be peaceful

Simple---the Jewish people have refined "victimization" to a fine art, and are holding the Holocaust over the rest of the world's collective heads.
