Of course not!!! There have been China-bashing / Chinese-bashing going on in the internet.

Some Chinese may use exotic animals but that's confined to a very limited populations and is outlawed in most Chinese municipalities. Even for these people (whom I despise as a Chinese myself), fried rats and mices is a crazy idea.

Besides, the size and shape of a chicken is very different from that of a rat /mice, the patrons will always notice if the dish looks funny.

they don't use fried rats or mice for orange chicken. they use fried cats. check your source next time.

no, its cut up cats, i know cause i had one of thouse restarants in my town, late at night you could hear the cats being killed out back in the alley
