You might feel a little stretching of the uterus but its not like an intense pain, more like a mild cramping...

Thick and bloated, but not hard. Kind of like you ate too much or have gas. It does hurt to suck in or push on it, so don't do it! You just feel all around lousy. AT least I did with both of my pregnancies.
