How much does it cost to test without a plan?

I have a verizon cell phone and I don't have any texting plan. I was wondering how much it cost to send a single text.

its usually 10 cents per message sent and 10 cents per message recieved but they have a customer service number you can call and ask for sure, google it or go to verizon.com or call it it should be on your phone
