I have a few various questions about bass (see details).?

1. How often do basses need to be restrung?

2. Is 100-watts enough to get the best sound out of a Schecter Studio-5?

3. Are Studio-5s good quality, middle-range basses?

4. How expensive is it to get my tuning knobs fixed? (usually...)

2. Absolutely
3. For middle-range, yes.
4. It depends, usually about $100-$150.00

If you are referring to a baritone sax, which is the largest, they should still be available through music stores(brick and mortar or online), auction sites(ebay,etc), or even the classified ads in the newspaper, usually listed under musical instruments.
