This is one of those secret clubs that kids make all the time, but it's not secret. I need advice on what we should do/how we should handle issues such as scheduling, finances, that sort of thing

Well maybe you could have a list for you and all your friends. Ex. you meet on tuesdays and wednesdays @ two to five or something like that. i hope it helps.

Declare yourself the leader, make them pay you dues, do not show them the books or tell them anything. If they don't like it, kick them out. It's your club, after all.
