I have a friend that i'm sure every girl has had at one time or another. She's the kind that has some selfseteem issues so she does thing she shouldn't. I really care for her and what to help her because i know she would do the same for me. She has sex with her boyfriend a lot and she doesn't really do it in a safe way. She has thought that she was perganet before and she thinks that now. I just wanted to know some ways you can tell you are.

Tell her that self respect is something she needs to do before any of the other things she does to hurt herself in any way. She should find a skill she does well and go with it. Does she sew, does she dance, is she able to give others good advice, is she good with kids?

Good luck helping your friend. Friends are a dime a dozen. You are a good friend.

To me, THE most important reason to have safe sex is to avoid HIV. With all the teen pregnancy, that is obviously not real to teens. So, tell her that you want her to have a happy life and getting pregnant at this time, would only complicate the process and hinder her goals. If he won't use a condom, she needs to go to a free clinic and get birth control. Go with her if you can for moral support and education.

The first way is not getting your period...another is sore breasts, hardened lower stomach,......just buy a pregnancy test at the drug store and try to tell this girl to get birth control or she will regret it when she does get pregnant....how old is she?

Go to a drug store and buy an early pregnancy test then she'll know for sure. If she doesn't want to get pregnant tell her to protect herself.

There is nothing you can do for your friend except be there for her.

She has a lot of issues and it would be really good if she dealt with them before she becomes some-body's mother.

Well, if she starts throwing up yellow stuff, she is pregnant.
and a missed period or 2 is another symtom.
But, its her life and her business, so let her live and learn through life experiences
