I am TTC and have been for awhile now. I am not sure how long my cycles are and I need to figure this out so that I can try to pin point when I ovulate. I thought my cycle was 28days but seem to change over the last couple months. Here are my last few months cycles. 5/6 - 5/11, 6/3 - 6/9, 6/30 - 7/5, 7/16 - 7/21, 8/14 - 8/19, next one should be around 9/15. I also have had sex in Aug. on the following dates. Do you think I have a good chance of being pregnant? Or was my timing off? Here are the dates I had sex on in Aug...19th, 21st, 24th, 26th, 28th, 29th, 31st. And plan to do so again tonight. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, I am sure all of you who are or did have trouble conceiving understand why I am asking for help with this. Thank you everyone who takes this seriously and gives their best answer. I will pick the best answer to this Q, so you can get your extra points you deserve.

HEllo~ looks like they average about every 29-30 days. Just to be safe I would BD the 12th-15day of your cycle , counting from the first day of your cycle.
You look like you are doing a very good job of bd'ing already , so dont worry, im sure you will be pg soon~ Good Luck!

Go get book "Taking charge of your fertility". I tried to get prego for a while, and no advice worked. I fell upon this book and was absolutely astounded at how much I did not know about my own body. I cannot tell you enough how right on this book is.Needless to say 2months later I was prego. It answers EVERYTHING. I think you could have possibly conceived aug 24-30. You can only conceive 2 days in a month. The first day of your period is day 1. The week of days 10-17 is when you become fertile.Even if you have sex day 10 and do not ovulate till day 13 sperm can live 3 days. During days 10-17 (again day 1 is first day of period.) you will notice that two of those days your discharge is very slippery and clear. I mean CLEAR not white at all. If you stick your finger in you every day of the mo. you will be dry immedietly after your period for a few days, then creamy white around day 8-10 then it turns to super slippery clear eggwite stuff. THAT IS FERTILE STUFF!!! Your cervix is tilted on these days also. You can actually feel the change in position of ir with your finger, also some women can feel the opening to cervix as bigger. This means you are more able to accept the sperm. The white creamy stuff drowns the sperm and cervix is not tilted or open at this time. So get book to confirm all this, count day 1 of period as day one look for fertile clear discgarge @ day 10-17. DO IT then.If you screw too much before the 2 days of clear discharge, those lil sperm guys may be too tired to make the final journey all the way up to the egg, cause they are just swimming around in your cervix waiting for your egg to drop! Save the action for the two days of clear discharge. No matter how irreg you are, you always can count on the fertile discharge. You mey not drop an egg every mo. But you WILL HAVE FERTILE DISCHARGE for two or so days and that is conducive to keeping the sperm alive and mobile!!!!! I sincerely feel for you, your man probly thinks yer crazy, and you are sick of people telling you to relax. I felt all of the feelings you are having, cried and cried. I found that book and am so thankfull. It also helps you NOT get prego which may also be helpful some day!! You'll be ok. I have a beautiful 6mo old baby Girl!!! You will be a mommy. I understand how you feel sweetie. It will be ok.

Your cycles are actually very regular, except for the one that started early in July, but those do happen. It looks like you have approx 28 day cycle. Give or take a day. You shoud've ovulated on 8-28 or 8-29, so as long as there are no fertility problems, your off to a good start.
Some advice, only have sex every other day. It takes a male 48 hrs to replenish his full supply. Also, check out a fertility monitor. I have one, it's pricey, but you will never wonder when your ovulating again. You pee on the stick ,put it in the machine & it tells you what your body is doing.

Hey there! I am TTC also and was told by my OB/GYN said the best way to pinpoint exactly when you ovulate is to use a Basal Body Thermometer and chart your temp each morning before you get out of bed. You must do this as close to the same time each day as possible. Also I find that using an ovulation prediction kit helps to tell you when your fertile days are. Use both of these methods together and you should hopefully conceive as long as you are ovulating and your partner's sperm are normal. A wonderful website that I use to chart my temps is Fertilityfriend.com The site will allow you to enter all of your info(temps, cervical mucous, symptoms, opk)and it will graph them for you!! The site also tells you when you ovulate and when your best chances for conception are!! Check it out, you will love it.

It looks like they were approx 28 days apart then only 16 days apart in july... then back to 28 days or so after that... I looked on another site and based on your august dates and a 28 day cycle your best days to conceive were the 21st to the 24th or around there... so it looks like you were "trying" in the right time.

www.ovulation-calendar.com this site has a calendar that you can download to help you track things.. if you don't like that one you can just put ovulation calendar in a search and you will get a decent amount of results... webmd is one Ive used in the past... Good Luck..
