First off all is it a real cent, does it look like any other cent except for it's color. If it does, then it's been plated, with the liberty bell and map added on. It was common in the 60's and 70's to stamp images to the right or left of Lincoln's head. There out there with liberty bells, he smokes a pipe, plus other patriotic images were punched in. It also could be a cent size token, however you said it was a cent. I am not sure anyone has ever really done a lot of research on stamped cents. I do know there is a set out there some place, with a map of all the states stamped on 5o different cents. Hope this helps.

I've been collecting for a while, and I can't picture a Lincoln penny with a liberty bell or what ever, and they were made of mostly copper at that time, so there again, I'm having a hard time with being able to help... (?)

Are you sure it wasn't a 1976 penny? Banks gave away commemorative pennies on fact cards for the bicentennial.
