getting a Bachelor of Science in zoology or pre-veterinary medicine are not that different. Many of the classes are the same such as chemisty, biology, physiology, but they differ a lot once you get to the upper division stuff where you start to specialize a little bit more. If you want to be a vet..then you would have to go to vet school after getting the B.S. degree (you can go to vet school with either major) but if you want to work as a zoologist in a zoo or for the government, you can start a career right away. I personally think the zoology degree is a little more intense...more information about more species whereas pre-vet mostly sticks to learning about farm animals and dogs and cats.

Zoology by far has the most information. To become a zoologist, first you have to be a biologist, then speciallize and do a lot of research. Besides, zoologists studi thousands of species.

Vets have to get only 1 degree, and study a few species no more than 80.

So vet is the easiest to achieve.
