You can download a portable Firefox web browser and put it in your USB thumbdrive. When in school, plug in the thumbdrive and surf the net using the Firefox application. All your history and temp files will be stored in the thumbdrive instead on the harddisk.

Have a close look at the icons on the tool bar. Can you see a small black upside down triangle at the side of every icon, well if you click on it a drop down menu will appear with all sorts of things on it.
The one you want is on the left of the search box. look for options and personalize your tool bar.
you can also highlight the search and press delete on your keyboard.

or go to tools>>internet options and clear history, cookies, and temp files

you can beter clear the history of searching by clicking the content tab at the internet options then under personal information click atuo complete then click clear forms or stop auto complete by un checking forms
