My pc is 4 years old. its an AMD Athlon with windows XP.I cannot stay on line for more than 4 mins. I need a antivirus/security program that can be loaded by disc,as I can't stay on line long enough to download.Any suggestions??

Go to a friends house and download AVG Free Edition burn it to a disc then load it back on your computer.
Spyware I would suggest Adaware SE. It should be small enough to download and update before the internet goes down. Depending on the speed of your connection. Or do as above and burn it on the same disc as the avg one.

using another computer type "stinger" into the search engine.
your looking for "Mcafee avert stinger" its 1.2 MB copy it to a memory stick and run it on your computer. that should find the virus and delete it
