My elbow is under some bad pain. There is a tingling, painful, "pins-and-needles" sensation spreading into my forearm. The arm also feels quite weak and not very stable. Any ideas on what it might be? Thanks.

I woke up one morning and it was in severe pain so maybe I hyperextended it in my sleep and it disturbed some of the nerves. I'll have my doc check it out.

Is an involvement with the brachial nerve. It would indicate you have an inflamatory process going on above the level of the arm.. Should have it examined and treated as there is danger of muscle atrophy if allowed to progress. If you get no satisfactory results from recommended treatment, do see a chiropractor.. they are usually the doctor of last resort, in too many instances.. yet continue to create results.

You might be overusing your forearm during key boarding. This leads to pressure on the Ulnar nerve behind your elbow. This is what is leading to tingling down to your hands.
First take it easy, and do some stretching. If symptoms don't disappear, go and see an Orthopedic surgeon.

sounds like you need to go to your doctor and in the meantime take some mortrin or advill 600mg and put a warm compress over it, that will definitely sooth the pain

I had that & it was coming from an injury in my neck.
I went to a chiropractor & it's all gone now.
