Don't worry, not all women get morning sickness, and not all at the same time. It's like how some women get really bad heartburn, some don't get any at all. Each woman is different.

not all pregnancies have morning ( sometimes had at night) sickness....i have had 5 children and 8 pregnancies with only 1 moment of nausea that lasted a total of 30 seconds. I have been a nurse for a while now and from what i know there is no connection with morning sickness ( or the lack thereof) and miscarriage. In response to when this sickness happens (not the exact answer you are seeking) but the nausea (sometimes with vomiting) can occur at any time in the pregnancy although most common during the first and early second trimesters. Be sure to notify your MD if this becomes severe or projectile vomiting.Good luck and remember what ever you do....your baby is doing with you!

With my first baby I didn't know I was pregnant until my 5th month when I felt her move! I was a little nauseous for about a week, but it was when everyone at work had the flu, so i just thought I had caught it too! With my second pregnancy I was puking my guts up day and night from about one week after fertilization! I lost this baby at 11 weeks, so I don't think the severity of morning sickness affects your chances of miscarriage. Don't worry so much, and maybe you should look into buying a book called "What to Expect When You're Expecting". They answer all kinds of questions, even the ones you think are too dumb to ask your doctor! Congratulations and good luck to you, and a healthy baby!!

No, morning sickness has nothing to do with miscarraige risk. I never got sick, although I had lots of queasy days. Get the book, What to Expect When You are Expecting. It can answer just about any question you have about being pregnant. And be grateful, my friend is pregnant with her second child, and as she puts it, both times she spent the first few months "sick as a dog." In general morning sickness starts early in the first trimester and goes away by the second trimester. You might still get it, some people do get it later on in pregnancy.

No
I was excessively sick with my first pregnancy and I miscarried. With the 2nd only morning, the 3rd sick 24/7 both were healthy. Some women are lucky, sounds like you might be one of them.
You must have heard the old saying: The sicker you are the healthier your baby will be. That is because sometimes the baby takes most of the mother's nutrients, so you must be on a very good and well balanced diet.
Keep up the good work.
God Bless and Congradulations.

I've had two healthy babies without an ounce of morning sickness on either one... The pregnancy hormone is what is though to cause the morning sickness... your body just may not react to it in that way... count yourself lucky... but morning sickness or no morning sickness puts you at no greater or less chance of miscarriage.

No why would you even think that? I'm 33 wks preg and in my first trimester i hardly got mornging sickness until later then i had it morning and evening and then certain smells would upset my tummy, believe me hun your not missing much enjoy it lol.

But you are not at risk for a miscarriage, just because you dont have morning sickness.

You should be glad you havent gotten morning sickness....thats something you wouldnt really want to have, i had it for my first 3 1/2 months of pregnancy and let me tell you it sucked...just because you havent gotten it doesnt mean your at a high risk of having a miscarriage, it has nothing to do with that. Every woman is diff. and every pregnancy is diff.

In my experiences---as early as 4 weeks and as late as13weeks. Don't worry, you will get it soon enough and wish you could go back in time to the days you didn't have it. Also, I hear some women are lucky enough to not even get morning sickness--maybe you are just one of the lucky ones. Congratulations and best wishes for you and your baby!
