We liberated Iraq from a dictator that lived supremely wealthy, while the common people starved, recieving no benefits as a community from the oil money!
For them to act so ungrateful and to call us occupiers!
We shed our blood and use our tax dollars and grieve as a Nation at war and they = muslims (see the best answer chosen on this post, below by clicking it) say we are not doing enough for them over there...
HOW DARE THEY!!!!! The sunni muslims and the shitte muslims are killing each other palestinian style with bombs on the street! Does anyone else see that to talk about muslims is to talk about politics as they have Islamic Countries and there is no seperation of church and state...(Not that I go for seperation of church and state.) But their religion and politics go hand and hand.
And they wonder why we good "people of the book" talk bad about them!?

You know the truth is, I know muslims. Every NONmuslim with a big heart (like I used to be towards them...) always defends them like an under dog. We good people always say, "Oh they are people just like us..." YOU KNOW WHAT! You will NEVER hear a muslim say that about a nonmuslim!!! PERIOD! They do not give to you and me the same mercy and compassion! You have an enemy! You don't realize! Maybe you do not want to... YOU ARE IN INFEDEL to them that deserves death, they do not want YOU on their soil. They do not respect your life... Keep defending your enemy fool...

OMG....I can not believe I'm hearing this. First of all I will definitely admit that Iraq was not in good condition when Saddam was there, but for you to say that its better off with the US troops there is so wrong. Saddam and his brother raped and killed their women? Where have you been SSOOOOO many troops have been doing that. If you think Bush sent our troops for the right reasons, I'd advise you to think again. Bush wanted to finish what his father started and to get some OIL!!!!! The reason that Iraq's religion and politics go hand in hand is because there are mostly Muslims there. They truly are faithful to their religion to that extent. I'm not understanding where you get you info from. How in the world would you know that the Iraqis are calling you occupiers? Some Iraqis are grateful but how can they ALL be grateful when you've invaded their country and have been there for years. Don't you think its time to leave? I hope you take me seriously because I am an Muslim Iraqi American. Though many might think a 16 year old girl doesn't know what she is saying, I believe strongly about this

Unfortunately you only listen to what the bias media will tell you. I bet when you really get to ask the people of Iraq, you would hear stories of gratitude. The Bush hating media will bury anything good about the war. It was the same in Viet Nam. The Iraqies were just handed full control of thier own security force. The media buried it with out any fanfare. I think you miss the big picture here. Fly over the area: 1) Our allies are there in Israel surrounded by the most intense kooks that are bent on killing the Israelli and US. 2) Even a weak government in Iraq will be another ally. All you need is to have the madman in Iran decide to pop off a nuke, even a small one.. The US will be able to retailate even from our weak foundation in Iraq. A foothold is almost all we can ask for as crazy as they all are.

Wow, questioner, let's see you go to Iraq and check out the situation. Does Iraq seriously look like some country that's recently been liberated from some dictator? Hell No! The death toll for Iraqis is well in the hundred thousands, all their infrastructure has been destroyed, and they have been stripped of all their integrity. You, being the good little brainwashed American that Bush so badly wants you to be, have decided to ignore all the suffering that the Iraqis have been through and say they're ungrateful. BRAINWASHED! AMERICA IS ONLY IN IT FOR THE OIL! Why do you think America isn't in Sudan trying to end their genocide? Because there's no oil for the US! Did you ever think about that?

I could not agree with you more. I am so sick of people not holding Muslims responsible for their own situation around the world. They blow each other up killing innocents all the time and people say its okay because they are so repressed and have no other way to retaliate. Its a form of subtle racism when you look at it. In my opinion they are incapable of governing themselves and maybe they were better off under Sad am even though we have given them a wonderful opportunity to better their country and lives of all Iraqis, but what do they do? They piss all over it.

Have you walked a mile in their shoes? How do we know how we would act/react if it were us. For most of them this is the first time they have been free to express themselves without fear of Saddam. Wars between different ethnic and religious groups have been going on since the beginning of humankind. I'll say this for them, their religion is an integral part of their everyday lives, unlike many Christians. When our nation was young, we had our own Civil War. In a sense, they are where we were in the late 1800s. We must pray that our troops can help stem the tide of violence and train the Iraqis to take over.

What the H!!!! Get real!!!Put yourself in their place, Saddam has been OUT - for a a long time, now wasn't that the lie Bush told to the American people, well you captured him - so whats up! - WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE?Forget the politics - just remember who took your country into this carnage...and remember the American people tried to Impeach Clinton, for a "stupid" lie - remember - "I didn't have sex with that woman"!, and that didn't cost you over 700 Billion dollars!!!! It didn't send your sons and daughters to war - it didn't massacre THOUSANDS of innocent women and children!!! This is a senseless war that will never produce a winner and the US and every other country that fell into the lie - will end up pulling out - JUST LIKE VIETNAM - and leave the country in ruin... Just watch and see...

Change is hard on everybody even when it is a good thing. Only time will tell. They have been surviving under great oppression for their whole lives for centuries in fact, it is all they know. So no surprise some are not pleased. I do believe Iraq is not ready to go it on their own we must stay for the duration. Show love for the people, hate gathers only dust.

They didn't ask you to go there and you went not because your governement wanted to make a democratie there, your governement didn't went there becuase people were suffering. They went ther just for economical reason, to keep the control on petrol, to keep the control on important strategical territories in the west.
Don't let them fool you, we are sold to the economical and financial reasons.
Why don't the US do the same in Israel: go and save the palestinian, and the corates and the turquish and Cuba ....no, they only go if they can earn something

Whoa, sounds like someone has been watching too much Fox News...First off, the CIA put that dictator in place and protected him for many years until he pissed us off and then we decided to oust him...Iraq is a society that is 5000 years old and all of a sudden we are going to bring "democracy" to them? Why dont you look up the real definition of democracy and see if it is really practiced in the United States. You really need to get out of your ivory tower...I dont blame them for hating us, we are occupiers. Are you Christian? You dont seem to be very forgiving or open minded for that matter.
