My ipod was working fine. The battery ran out on it, and I tried to charge it, and nothing is working... =(

I tried buying a new usb cable for my ipod video 30gig, I also tried putting it in a wall charger that connects to a usb, but that still isn't working either.

I have had the ipod for 7 mons and I have read every apple online forum about trouble shooting, and I still can not figure out what my problem with it is.

Can anyone help me out please =)

if it is 7 months you are still in warranty. I recommend saving all your files and just turn it in to an Apple store, they will give you a new one b/c of warranty. They don't even try to fix it, they just "recycle" it and give you a new one. Thats what i learned the hard way. I waited 2 weeks and in that time i was out of warranty so they couldn't help me except for10% on a new one. That is why Apple will die in <10 years

Check with the store where you purchased it and also maybe a reset button may be on it: Good Luck
