For decades, scientists have known that the whole left-brain, right-brain thing is inaccurate. I'm still waiting for the general public to catch up, but southpaws who carry paintbrushes really like to say they're creative, and really hate to read up on science. End result: They're holding onto this rather dated concept with a deathgrip.

actually, im sorry to disappoint you, but society wouldn't function any differently. each hemisphere of the brain has the remarkable ability to mirror the functions of the opposite hemisphere. so in other words, with no left hemisphere, the right hemisphere would be able to carry out all the functions of the left and the right hemispheres combined. i know this answer isn't as exciting as what you had hoped for, but its the truth :(

Cognitive reasoning and all of the principals we use for understanding the right brain would go out the window... We would all be manic dribbling idiots running around in circles painting pictures in our tears that didn't look like anything and writing well... Prose! (LOL, you have to be a poet to understand why that is funny)
Music would go down the shitter too! Everything beautiful that is produced by the right hemisphere would be sperratic, make no sence and we would be completely void of the ability to properly understand ( as in vector and put into perspective) or appreciate it in any whole or complete way.

Is it there or their, society with only right brain will think normal, if that is all they had. Just as if part the brain has been damage, then it would reroute itself.
These are some capablity of living organism, "survive".
