1- Tim Duncan: He was the best player on the Spurs 3 championship teams. Without him, they're a less athletic version of the Memphis Grizzlies. He's probably the best PF to have ever played the game.

2- Dirk Nowitzki: He's one of the best shooters in the league and an underrated rebounder. He singlehandedly took his team to the NBA Finals this past season. He is also a very good passer. He needs to work on his 1 on 1 defense. He also seems to have trouble with smaller, stronger defenders.

3- Kevin Garnett: He does many things well. He's a great defender, shot blocker and rebounder. He's a good shooter, but struggles to find his own shot at times. He would really shine on a decent team.

4- Shawn Marion: Like Garnett, he does many things well. He is a better outside shooter than KG, but tends to shrink during big games.

5- Tracy McGrady: He could be #2 on this list, but needs to shake the injury bug. He has underachieved with the Rockets.

dirk most definatly! he's not just a good forward hes a good player all around! he can do pretty much everything! Plus i love the mavs! but after dirk i would say, duncan then a tie between marion and garnett, there good but not the best. T-Mac is more of a small forward if u ask me! Cuz hes more of a shooter not so much a Post-up player.

you have to be kiddin... dirk??? dirk sux it seems like hes good becuz he pplays in the NBA of today where defense is optional. Dirk coulda never played in the 80s or early 90s, KG is a beast no doubt, shawn marion also good but cant lead a team by himself. Tim duncan is the most boring player on earth. and tmac is one of the top players wen healthy, so i say TMAC wen healthy, and KG all around. If sum1 decided to play defense on dirk like they did in the germany vs USA game he is helpless

Its either dirk or tim because both can grab rebounds and still score. but since tim is growing old, he won't last much longer(maybe 3-5 more seasons) while dirk is fresh and will last. shawn can also do good and has comparable stats. for a guy who is 6-7, he can get a lot of rebounds.

Is T-Mac a forward? I don't think he is.. He seems to play like Guard to me.

This is a tough question. I like Marion but he shrinks in the playoffs. If this is for fantasy go with Marion. If it's a general question I like Nowitzki!
