How many bands or artists have done entire albums of cover versions. I ask cause I know both Westlife and Erasure have done this, with Allow Us To Be Frank and Other People's Songs. How many more cover version albums are there?

I think the short answer is ... far too many to name.

Bryan Ferry's initial solo career was peppered with cover albums as his original compositions were used for Roxy Music. Same with Martin Gore from Depeche Mode.

Strictly speaking "Swing When You`re Winning" wasn`t an entire cover version album - "I Will Talk To Hollywood ..." is an original song LOL.
Eric Clapton has done a Robert Johnson tribute CD that covers RJ (a Blues legend) ,there are many various artist cover CDs out there too.

Duran Duran made one Called "Thank You" where they attempted to cover songs like 911 Is A Joke -by Public Enemy or White Lines by Grandmaster Flash - Needless to say this album was crap, and has recently been voted by Q magazine as the worst album ever.
