I think they did....they are something fresh and different and everybody loves them...and soccerplaya you are WRONG AFI deserved that best rock video fair and square...because they got more votes :-P

The VMAs hve descended from actually meaning something to a parody where the winners can be predicted in advance, and the whole thing is geared to hero-worship the 'in' bands like the Arctic Monkeys, whilst better bands are ignored.
But to answer the question, if you truly believe that they deserved to win, then nothing anyon else says is going to make a difference, is it???

i think of Hollyaoks using fact it has had some fab storylines over the final twelve months. Silas' escape, the bus crash, Brendans death, Esthers bullying etc. yet I doubt this is going to win. Out of the others i might say Corrie as this is been sturdy specially using fact of Kirsty/Tyrone and the Lewis/Gail storylines. Emmerdales stay eppie and Carls homicide grew to become into sturdy yet that has long previous downhill presently. Eastenders i finished observing its so undesirable!

I think they deserved to win everything they were nominated for!!!! But I'm happy they got Video Of The Year!!! That's the most important one next to Viewer's Choice, which Fall Out Boy won!!!

I think they deserved to win Video of the year. Their music video was awesome!! But they should have won Best Rock Video instead.

They deserved it. When they didn't get any of the other awards, I just knew they were going to get Video of the year. MTV was just spreading the love around.
