American Eagle gift card pop up?

OK, AE is my fave store, and I got this pop up that said free 250 dollar gift certificate while I was at the site. I dont know if its for real or not. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, is it for real? Thanks so much.

yes it's for real, but you have to complete a number of offers or buy something in order to get it
