Has anyone ever heard of birds dying inside corn husks? Why does this happen?

we opened a corn husk the other day and a dead bird was inside.

I've never heard of this. I just harvested the end of the corn from our garden and shucked it all. I found lots of earwigs (creepy enough) but no birds. If I ever find a dead bird in a corn hush that will be the end of growing corn in my garden!

im from the midwest and i have never heard of this i was raised on a farm to i sounds kina spookie
