Depends -- whether the experience with the person I cared about was positive (good) or negative (bad). If negative -- I would be relieved -- and although I would not say anything -- I would be thinking "Good Riddance".
If the experience was positive -- the I would make sure to stay in contact with that individual throughout the years -- and I have done that with several people.

It would be about something that has made both of us happy in the past, the good and bad thoughts and memories. We'll reminisce a lot and then I'll tell him/her that he/she will always be in my heart and mind and will always be in my prayers.
