Ben Wallace is the best center in the entire league! Shaq was better when he played for the Lakers. Yao is just not mean enough.

For the next three or four years it will still be Shaquille O'neal. Wallace is a great defender, but he is not the scorer Shaq is. Yao Ming is getting close, but he is not yet Shaq's equal. The wild card with Shaq is his ability to play injured. The older he gets the harder it is to stay healthy.

Yao is to soft, and Shaq is getting old. Ben is the star Center in this question. Who the hell wants to run into him on or off the court.

Each player has their unique playing style. Two of them have one thing in common, Shaq and Ben have a championship ring to their name while Yao has none. In terms of skill, i guess i have to go with shaq.

shaq now and his best. yao has been a sadness he has yet to even basic 20 factors according to sport or perhaps win a playoff sequence. shaq did that throughout his rookie season. no assessment.

shaq. he can still score, and plays solid defense. but ben and shaq suck at the free throw, while yao does exceptionally well.
