wow it depends on your fears if you dont like heights then i wouldent go for gymnastics and go for soccer and if you dont want to get dirty then i would pick gymnastics
i like both so much but i would be better at soccer and it also depends on what you like you shouldent just do it for popularity are something ( just saying )

umm....i really cant complain with gymnastics. if its on i'll watch. soccer on the other hand is the most boring event to watch. its soooo slow and nothing happens. so to answer your question hockey is better
