As we get older newer things become harder to learn and we get fixed on certain things changing slowly, if at all. at least that's what i tihnk happens when things r harder to learn adn we have such emotional investment in the past how can u expect us to change from one point of view to another ( im not old i just got that from observing people)

There is a view that there is only one truth and when people think they've found it they tend not to be open to any other possibilities. There's also the thought that some people are just too lazy or ignorant to look any further than what is handed to them on a plate. Blind faith ... Enough said! I say, what harm is there in asking. But some find questions, that they know to only have weak answers, offensive or unsettling. B well.

coz more often than not, they are blinded with the thought that their argument is the best. people tend to turn to hear only what they want to hear and disregard the rest, thinking only of things that would gratify their belief. that no one else should be better than them. ego...man, that's the thing. unless one realizes to listen, than unity in principle would never be attained.
