In the manga Gaara calls Deidara a girl, then at wikipedia.com they say Deidara is a guy.
Which is it???!!!

I'd probably go what the manga says since wikipedia.com is made up by probably tons of people and plus the people in the manga know what the translations to the words in it and they check the typing. Wikipedia can be quite confusing becaus eof the mistakes people type into the info some times.

Deidara is most definetly a guy. Remember Haku? Naruto called HIM a girl, but he was a guy. Maybe Gaara just made the same mistake.

some of these people are confusing haku with deidara yeah gaara calls him a she but later he is refered to as a him maybe when it comes out in the anime we will get a better understanding

a guy. there's only one girl in akatsuki and her identity is yet to be revealed. i'm not really sure the unknown member is a girl but for goodness sake she has a flower on her head.

ok as far as the manga goes i cant help you there. but in the original japanese anime i know that its a he. hes real feminine and naruto thinks hes a she until she tells him that he is a he. got it?
