you should not need drivers. connect it through usb then in the control panel go to game controlers and set it up from there.
if it does not work then you can most likely find a generic driver on the windows xp cd.

Unfortunately, not all games are compatible with rumble gamepads. Games have to be written to take account of specific features, that's why some games don't use all of the fire buttons that are available. Check to see if the game you are playing does actually use your gamepads features.
IBM compatible means that it uses the same specifications that the original IBM (the first PCs) computers use. Most computers nowadays are IBM compatible, unless you use an Apple Mac, a Unix system, or one of the older series of computers such as a Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, etc.
Because you are running Windows XP, this sort of guarantees that you are running an IBM compatible.

even as installation the gamepad drivers, ascertain that the making use of CD is in the CDcontinual, then even as homestead windows activates you, pick 'search for for a motive force right away'. If it really is failure, installation the making use of that got here with the gamepad, then attempt again. If that couldn't operating, even as it activates you to position in, pass to pick a motive force manually, then i will opt for my motive force manually, pick Joysticks/Gamepads if it asks you, then pick IBM nicely matched. See what that does. IBM nicely matched is a established set of gamepad drivers from again in 1992 or before. (i imagine)

If the card needs driver they ARE on the disc. But it may not need drivers and so should be working already.
One of my pads needed drivers another didn't.
