There could a number of things going on. Unbalanced hormones, stress,or an improper diet may the problem. This could become serious if you do not get it checked out. Are you on any type of birth control pill? That could be another reason for the irregular periods. Don't stress until you get this checked out.

A million things...overweight, underweight, thyroid, cysts...make an appointment...9 times out of 10 they will put you on the pill to regulate things, I used to go through it where I wouldnt have a period for 6 months then get one for 2 months straight, I had every test under the sun done and I was fine...if you dont plan on having kids ever or for a very long time, I tried and use depo as birth control, you dont get a period and all those cramps and good stuff.

One of many things. Thyroid problem, diabetes, stress, dehydration, ovarian cysts. The only way to find out is to have a pap followed by blood work.

There are lots of reasons. If you're anorexic, over exercising, and a number of other health problems. Go see a doctor.

it could be that your just irregualar. also, if you've had a hot summer you will not cycle
