Sorry For Interupting Women's Kitty Party Love, But , As you said you are a " Religious Muslim " then you should do what the Almighty Allah wants you to, He wants you to be a decent One and not from the Likes of Infedils. No Offence, Hijab is not necessary but Atleast you should wear what is allowed in Islam and not which is Explicit like the Sleeveless Clothes... Hope That Would Help you....

I'd say just do what your mother tells you to do. When your older you can make your own decisions and when your are her age maybe you'll understand why your mom doesn't want you to wear sleeveless shirts.

well, im not musilim but im twelve also. my parents are strict about this kinda thing. so heres my advice, do what i do. say "mom, i understand you think im to young to show that much of myself, but im not a little girl anymore. im almost a teenager. so, i would really like to wear a tanktop. it would be ok if you went with me and helped me pick out a few not to revealing, ones that are school appropriate, ect. In any case i respect your desicion, and i will wait to wear them if i have to."
~dont throw a fit if she says no. she may reconsider if you use amturity in the conversation. she'll probably think, 'well, she handled the conversation maturly, so i think she should get to wear them...."
you never know what mite happen! and good luck with getting your mom to let you!

You should ask your mom why, and when you do, give her reasons as to why she should let you wear skirts and stuff. If she says no, respect her answer, cause if you don't she will probably say no a lot more in the future than you would want her to.

Yor mother is only trying to protect you. As a muslim woman you are supposed to dress modesty. There will always be people who break the rules. At you age your mother is responsible for your behavior. Once you are an adult you are responsible for your own actions and can make your own decisions.

When I was your age, I really wanted something to go my way and my parents said no. I wasn't going to take that as an answer, lol. So, I kept pushing on asking them. Till they finally gave in. I was really starting to sound like a broken record.

sorry but that is odd. my family is also muslim and i am allowed to wear whatever i want. But what about summer? it would be so hot especially not to wear shorts or skirts.
my suggestion is to talk to her and explain to her that it bugs you and that you would never wear those super mini skirts (they are right at the tip of your thighs).
good luck!
