No, if people would research all of the data available to the average person(i.e. 9-11 Commission report) then this answer would become very clear. It would also dispose of all conspiracy theorists and anti - war Protestors. The wrong information is handed out on a silver platter , thus the easiest information is the only information most of us want.

Regardless of how or why we got involved in Iraq (I was against the war in 2003, BTW) there now a highly unstable country in the middle of the middle east. We have a moral and legal responsibility to make sure the country is stable before we leave. To paraphrase Colin Powell: We broke it so we have to fix it.

Ah come on you know it is. Just look who is benefiting Halliburtion for one, and other major companies. You have to really know oil is the major factor in the war. Many people died US and other countries to benefit the gaining of the oil fields in Iraq. I do not hear of one politician family being involved in the war. We have helped Afghanistan to increase opium production we are very successful at that also.
