Hey I play the violin in an advanced string ensemble, and we are looking for a good name for our group. Any good ideas? Thanks.

depends on what you're trying to achieve...

flip through a music dictionary. there are some cool sounding words in italian, french, german, etc..

like the enso string quartet. enso is derived from the Japanese zen painting of the circle which represents many things; perfection and imperfection, the moment of chaos that is creation, the emptiness of the void, the endless circle of life, and the fullness of the spirit.

be creative. i personally don't like bland names. like lyrique quartet or something. it's used too often.
be prepared to give curious people the definition of the word though.
