What was the coolest thing that happened to you in high school?

I went to a Catholic school and was treated so great by the kids and the sisters. No one picked on me or beat me up. That in itself was the coolest thing that happened to me and changed my entire life and self confidence!

One time I was between classes and the principal came up to me, smelling really bad, and started telling me and my friends how to combat vampires. With hand Gestures and facial expressions to match!!
We listened politely and then scuttled away.
Two days later he was gone. A favourite teacher of ours told us that he was receiving treatment for "alcohol problems" and that we will probably not see him again. He was right..
Thinking back..He behaviour had always been a little erratic...We thought he was just a (insert rude word here) But now we know he was a drunk!!

I became friends with a girl in 11th grade who was a witch (1971). Her mother and grandmother were both witches. This was way cool, because prior to meeting Laurie (not Cabot), I new nothing about this old religion. Laurie was informative and patient with my curious nature. It was a mind expanding friendship.

Then I told some bluff stories to the teachers and they actually believed me.
The boy went on detention.
