Mermaids are part human part fish- so are you eating a human even though their a fish to? These are the questions that haunt me.

your question reminds me of the story about the cannibals who had captured a missionary. after a quick cooking they began to eat.
One started at the head and the other at the feet, planning on meating in the middle.
After a period of bites, chews and swallows, the head cannibal asked the foot cannibal--"Hey, how you doing?"
The foot cannibal replied " great, I am having a ball."
to which the head cannibal replied--"Slo down, you are eating too fast!"
