No, Don't be silly! How did you come up with that?? Don't listen to any of the religious freaks! Look at how bad the world is due to religion!
Many of the latest space launches have been launched from the equator, as the amount of fuel needed is less!

That is total rubbish. Due to the fact that NASA launches spacecraft mainly in a near equatorial orbit and Russia launches spacecraft in a near polar orbit as well as the fact being that there are various rocket launch locations worldwide (even at sea), the notion that all spacecraft leave the Earth's atmosphere and gravitational pull over Jerusalem is a bunch of bunk.

No .space crafts can ;eave the earth's atmospher from any point if they reach the escape velocity sufficient to free themselves off from the gravity of the earth .It is about 11 kilometers per cecond or so.
One who sends up a spacecraft can progrmme it to leav the earth's atmosphere from any point o the earth , even from africa or antartica . if anybody has said that the leave the earth from exactly over jeruslem , it might be an attempt by some religious fanatic to create and spread a rumaour of miracle that it escapes exact;ly through a hole in the sky through which Jesus christ went up to heaven with his corporeal body , just as they churches which have been opposing scienific knowledge tried to introduce uninteeligentl and new theory of inteeligent design of cretion by a god who continue to create manking still naled despite the fact the humans have been very generous to such a god as to protects his modesty by clothing the very same God .
Religion was not only developed at atime man was ignorrant and arrogant , it has continued to provea bane for the peaceful living of the hymans . Even animals are living in peace but fopr the biped human beast , but man kind ihas lost its peace because of religons .
Do not belive in unscientific and foolish theories and never believe in all the trash in religon as they were made by men who lived several thousands of years ago when humans had much little knowled or inteeligence and could not even understand the real nature of the natural phenomena and killed persons of knowledge brading them as anti -religious and anti-god for telling the truth that the earth was moving around the sun. it ewas an admission and proof that the
god's the religion speaks of was either false or was himself totlly ignorant .We need no more proof of the follies of religions which kill intelligent and innocent human lives . Beware of them.

No. They don't.

The depart the atmosphere at many different points depending on the desired orbit.

In fact, I doubt that any spacecraft has EVER left atmosphere directly above Jerusalem. Given the location of the major launch facilities, it would be a very strange orbit.

No. Russia's spacecraft leave the atmosphere somewhere over the Pacific.

That is extremely unlikely, given the locations of launch sites in places as diverse as Florida, Brazil, Pacific islands, and Kazakhstan.

It all depends on where the shuttle takes off and on how fast it is traveling. I'd say that the "Jeruslem Theory" is a myth.
