I went to a Mc Donalds-Walmart & they dupped me of my 24 cents because the reason I drove all that way to that store was so I could save money by using the dollar menu (which they didn't have), & do my shopping at the same time.
Now everytime I don't see the dollar menu anywhere, I always ask if they have it just in-case; then I drive off if they don't & try finding a Burger King. They also came out with a dollar menu. Not bad.
Now can I order that without any carbs?
Just wrap the lettuce around it & we'll call it even. Oh yeah can you add some tomatoes in there too? For free?

1. They don't work behind the counter, so they are not at all familiar with your cash register, and how the order is rung up.
2. They are probably trying to make it easier for you by mentioning the dollar menu.
3. What's wrong with saying double meat cheeseburger?
4. Sounds to me like you are not always a people person. It all boils down to giving people a break for not knowing everything you do.
Have a nice day.

well when you go through the drive thru and ask for "fries" and you get a "Sprite", it makes us think that the more details that we give the better the chance we will get what we want. I also worked at McDonalds as a youngster and it was very hard. I think that sometimes it is quite entertaining when people are so funny. Just laugh and ask them if they would also like a bun with the "double meat"...! :-)

ok I am thinking from the other side of the thing. You think the cutomers ask too directly but what about the fact that most of the time the orders are fixed wrong and if going through the drive through that means TO GO but it is like prying it from the people at the windows cold dead hand to get the salt or ketchup from them. This does not make us the cutomer feel that you will get things right unless we spell it out for you!!

ZP is physically powerful. with the intention to diminish back on fee, nevertheless sell it for a greenback, and make a earnings, they bumped off a sprint cheese. So of course they might't call it a DOUBLEcheese anymore, as a result the recent call McDouble. to date as i'm worried that's the comparable super flavor, and in basic terms as filling, with extremely much less fat. Cheese is the worst portion of the burger!

I have a question for YOU! Why is it that when I order something plain everyone behind the counter, and a few customers, have a brain freeze. =P
Nah McDonalds isn't as bad about that as Wendy's at least the one down the street anyway, anytime you order something plain you can pretty much count on going back through the drive through a second time.

they assume your menu is larger than it is, and do not know there is such a thing as a double cheesburger on the menu that is not on the dollar menu.

I know what you mean. I work at El Pollo Loco, and people always ask me for a white meat chicken breast. I hate these people, when they do this. I also hate it when they say I'll have the loco pollo salad for $1 dollar. Then they get mad because their is no chicken on it. Fast food customers are the dumbest people I have ever seen.

Perhaps they don't know how simple the cash register is--or they are used to going through the drive through where the orders get mixed up on a regular basis.
