Stay away from renting motorcycles that break down,I ended up going up in the mountains with some Jamacains and lucky they where some of the nice one,just watch your money and the people at the markets for selling their goods,you can always buy a lot at one place and jew them down and get smoke at these booths is safest way if you want to try their stuff out!

Have a great vacation!! We were in Jamaica (Runaway Bay) in July and LOVED it. I found a website that was incredibly useful in planning our trip. It was TripAdvisor.com and on that site you can type in the resort name in the search area and can read reviews from previous visitors. Also, check out the forum section which is a question and answer forum (like here) about the area. Extremely pertinant information is available there. It made for a surprise free vacation for us.

Spend most of your time at the resort; their food is usually very good. Eating elsewhere can be expensive. Its not the safest place to go. On sightseeing, go with an escorted tour. You wont have to worry about being safe and being hustle to buy from scroungee and undesirables. Most people I know that have gone back for the second time, only go for the price, beaches & water and hardly ever leave their resort.

Check out Negril Point, 7 mile beach. Thats is one hell of a great place there you are going to. I have been there several times and love it. people are lovely, Jamaica No Problem !
