Judging from the answers received so far is seems that no one has a clue! Turn to Matthew Ch.24 and read. as all the prophecy's given by The Lord so far have all come true, there is no reason to suggest that what he said about the very end times will not occur. The Lord will return and after the "rapture" there will be a 7 year period of tribulation here on earth which will be a time more terrible than any other in the history of the world at the end of which there will be a 1000 year reign of Christ and peace. At the end of the 1000 years, there will be the last great battle known as Armageddon at which The Lord will overcome Satan and his followers. The Lord Himself will destroy the world as described in the Bible and He will create a new heaven and a new earth. It is highly probable that during the tribulation there will be showers of asteroids as men will seek shelter in cave from "falling stones" and the earth will be filled with all manner of plagues and disasters and there will be no rain during the first half of the tribulation and you can imagine what that will do to the world food supply. Any one with a swimming pool in their back yard will be in danger of being murdered for the water as people will be desperate. The Lord holds all men accountable for their standing before him. Simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will not be here to worry about it. Just accept him by simple child like faith and you will pass from death into life right now!

Climate changes around the world make farmers have low yeilds. This combined with the growing global population makes food prices soar. Many poor people die of starvation or turn to cannibalism. The GOP gets a good chuckle out of the whole thing.

My dreams are of comets impacting the Earth. People are scrambling in terror for their lives. Above the Earth, for many days before the impacts, 3 bright objects glowing blue-white, can be seen by everybody all over Earth. They will shine like 3 moons in the sky. The largest one will fall. This is what I think will happen.

However with the first answer we are seing ruthless hostility break out in countries not our own, however we put our fingers in the pot, we are setting ourselves up to piss someone off, and although I say us, all coutries do it to some extent, so whats to stop those with nuclear weapons to detonate them?

Personal death. Each individual faces what we have collectively projected into a world wide scenario. Religion, be if formal like Christianity or Judaism, or informal like hedonism or power, seeks to shield us from its harsh reality.
Death, not means, is the true doomsday.

look at Japan as to what components are substantial. common rainfall and robust drainage would be the type one and a pair of components. Mexico, Pacific islands, factors which at the instant are not grew to become to glass... or swamped via tsunami. The ozone layer heavily isn't an substantial element. maximum possibly there'll be great tracts of land which would be neither hit nor be "downwind". lots of Africa and South united statesa. which would be frequently unaffected via nuclear conflict. probable Afghanistan faraway from its cities. a sturdy little bit of Siberia. maximum of Canada. Bombs won't blanket the Earth, yet be directed in direction of "the enemy"... meaning not the a**holes that set poilicy, however the inhabitants at great.

Modern prophesy says the Earth will shift on its axis, (its spin).
Isaiah 24, and Revelation seem to agree with this.
My theory is that the polar caps had gotten too heavy, and started a chain reaction. (Earth has a" wobble" to its spin). First it will be earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. The heat from the volcanos melting the ice caps. Which I believe will cause the Earth to shift back to its proper spin.
