You need to pursue friendships in your area. Find other people to hang out with and talk to. You can have really, really good friends that you can be close to. They won't take the place of your sister. They aren't supposed to, but your life can't stop because your sister's life went on. You will still be in touch with your sister. If y'all were that close, I can't imagine that you won't spend time talking on the phone and chatting and emailing. Life changes as we grow up and we have to adjust. Good luck, sweetie.

I've always wanted a twin, that's gotta be totally rough on you. Keep in mind that with technology now you can e-mail each other, call each other, and send text messages any time you want. Of course that doesn't help much, and visits can only last for so long and are usually far apart. Have you tried asking your sister if she could perhaps choose someplace alittle closer to home until you're used to her being gone?

Find things you enjoy doing or would like to try and get involved. This will have two benefits. First, you can learn/do something new. Second, you will increase the likelihood of meeting good people to fill the void left by your sister.

Wish her well and be happy for her. Visit her often or maybe even think about moving closer to her. Tell her how you feel and if you don't plan on relocating, then start working on making some new friends.

It will be hard at first but you will get used to it. Keep in touch by phone and on the net. Join some groups and make some new friends.

This is a true loss. There are many in our lives. More as we get older. Mourning is the only answer. Then we move on.

Sure if you can find their diary about their life it probably somewhere in their room because I did that when my sister left for college to UNLV. it was funny reading all of her diaries and all of her boyfriend's love letter. lol

You'll call a lot, and you'll feel lonely. But eventually you'll find other friends to spend time. You'll still miss your sister, but you'll be OK.
