They can be used for embryonic stem cell research

I have done my research and I know that adult stem cells can be used. That isn't the question.
There are thousands of embryos that are thrown out because there is nothing else to do with them. There are not enough mothers to implant them into. There never will be.
So what do we do with them: trash or research?

have you ever actually concept concerning to the consequence your place holds. it is different from, nicely we've all of those left over embryo's, enable's make some thing clever out of them. it is starting to be and destroying a life to accomplish study. all the anti-abortion human beings out right here, like myself only value all human life. We see NO distinction in fertilizing an embryo and destroying it for study than selective genocide. IMHO the version is tossing an embryo is like what occurs as quickly as a month, an egg isn't fertilized. as quickly as the egg is fertilized via a sperm, then you certainly've life.

People who are opposed to stem cell research don't see it that way.
They think that if they embryoes aren't used for research, somehow magically thousands of surrogate mothers will line up voluntarily to become pregnant. Reality has no effect on their delusions.

I only support abortion in cases of rape or incest.
Since the question, to me would be.... If you don't support abortion, yet it is still legal, which option do yu support (in reference to what to do with aborted fetuses).... I would say that I do not support the reasearch without great scrutiny... there are some people out there who would harvest for anything... encouraging teens or mothers with unwanted pregnancies to have the abortion for the sake of research... hell, you may even find research labs offering 'finders fees' or something like that.....
That is why I cannot say that I really support stem cell research, even though abortion is legal currently

It isn't like they are throwing away "babies". I don't understand our president what so ever!!!! I think they should use them for cures for Parkinson's disease or whatever else that could be cured from them. I do think that pharmaceutical companies don't want to do this because they would be losing many millions of dollars.
