My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at age 63. He drinks a glass of juice or more a day. He also walks several miles every day, another thing that's supposed to "prevent" AD.

That makes sense to me. Wine is already good for your heart, but if you need another reason that sounds logical.
I remember hearing that there is a small amount of a nutrient found in beer that prevents cancer. I smoke so I have to drink to balance it out.

thats funny..I work on a Geri Psych/alzheimers unit at a nursing home..
you would bbe surprised how much juice they drink..

no proven benefits there...in this sense
