there is some real talent out there but for christ sakes some of these people are a joke, do they seriously think they can be a popstar!!!

If Britney and Justin made it then any of these fools can. Don't require any singing talent just a sellable look, personality. Blak kids now sit around till they are 80 waiting to be discovered as basketball player, rap star, or anything else that comes along. Whay get a job when you can go on reality TV get discovered and never work a day in your life.

I happen to be forced to watch this program (by the wife, so I'm not complaining, honest dear,)
But I was surprised by the lack of self respect these people were showing for just 2 minutes fame. Worse still they were mostly serious and not at all taking the piss.

Yes, but a lot just go to see if they will get on the telly.
With so many getting into bootcamp it will be interesting to see how many of the mediocre ones get booted out quite quickly.

I think they must really believe they can sing. How else can they put themselves through such an embarrassing experience. Some of them must be delusional, or just plain crazy to think they could ever make it in music.

Yep, thats why half of them are totally stunned when they are told they cannot sing. A lot of parents dont help, by lying to their children and saying they can sing.
Also, its important to note, when singing (as with speaking) because of the vibrations in the skull, you actually sound totally different to yourself, then you do in reality.
Ever listen to a tape of your self, its cringing... Imagine singing and playing it back... well they should....

I ask myself that question every year!!
I know I can't sing, and my mum and fiancee often tell me I can't sing. So where are the people in their lives who should be stopping them from humiliating themselves on national television?
It is fun though, I only ever watch the audition, they're the best bit!

And on the instantaneous that is in the papers that she has psychological subject matters and that i'm extremely bowled over this got here as a wonder to three human beings. immediately on that level i ought to tell the female wasn't nicely in the top xx

Some really can sing, but surely somebody should break it gently to these people that cannot sing instead of making a show of themselves in front of millions!

I always giggle when I think of the lad who worked in a chicken processing factory. You know the one who sang "Barbie Girl"?
He has no idea how much happiness he has brought into the world.
