Back when I was 12 I remember I got in trouble for prank calling a girl who I thought was pretty. This was before caller ID but she recognized my voice. Her mom called my mom and I got spanked soundly. My mom took me over to their house and made me apologize and told them I got spanked, much to my embarrassment. This girl must have told nearly everyone at school because I was teased about it a lot by the other girls. For example, girls would ask me if my bottom was still sore or they would rub their backsides and giggle.

I probably would have felt embarrased for a while; but realize that everyone who knows what embarrassment is has been embarrassed and that is more than likely most of the planet. It is liveable. Get over it and learn to laugh at yourself because something else in your future will embarrass you again. That's part of life, accept and realize that you are not alone.

Well at 12 it would have been a little embarassing for both of you. She probably told everyone because, well for one at that age you can't really keep a secret (you just say you can) and two I'm sure she kinda felt bad that she got you into so much trouble. So her telling everyone was just what kids at that age do. TALK!
But for you, chalk it up as another embarassing moment in adolences. Boy, I had plenty of those moments
