You have to give yourself permission to feel a little ambivalent about this pregnancy. You already have 1 baby, you don't want to have a relationship with the father therefore you will have 2 babies to raise yourself and on top of that you are scared of a miscarriage so you don't want to invest emotionally quite yet. It's all pretty understandable why you aren't overly exited and I think you really need to find a neutral person who can give you some good advice about how to proceed. You have a lot of soul searching to do. Best of luck to you and your little one.

I am married, so can't relate to all you are feeling, but I feel like I can really relate to some of it. My oldest is 4, when she was about 5 months old, i got pregnant with my second, then I also have one that is almost 9 mos., recently, I found out I am pregnant again with baby number 4 (about 2 mos. along), and I have had miscarriages before too (before I had any of my babies I now have), I think until the reality of the pregnancy really sets in, it is somewhat normal to not be too excited, for one thing, not wanting to get excited about something you might lose. Plus, in your situation, you have other things to worry about too. Hang in there though, it is not all bad having them close together and I hope things work out for you!!

No. Do not feel bad for not feeling excited. Just focus, for now, on you staying healthy, taking care of your baby, and go to the doctor. I am now pregnant and am also not with the father anymore. We have a 2 yr. old and I am due in 6 weeks. I was not excited either when I found out. But now I am looking forward to seeing what she looks like. Don't be afraid. Stay strong through prayer.

Maybe you are depressed. I think the further along you get the more excited you'll be. Hang in there, good luck

It really does sound like you are depressed. If you were married, you probably wouldn't be so upset.
