i've heard that in like 2012 the worlds gonna end on dec. 31,2012 cuz of the mayan calendar ends. is this actually true? and then like last thursday on 20/20 they said it was gonna end in 2035. so much false info. so im doing a report on false data and i think this is a good topic.

Well, the world will "end" someday but I don't think it will be in 2012. There are so many of these doomsday predictions but unless there is some catastrophic event - which is extremely unlikely but nonetheless a remote possibility - I think we'll make it a few more years.
People can always find justifications for the "end of days."
