The best age to have sex is when you feel comfortable enough to start. You have to be ready to accept the consequences when and if they arise. When you're ready to start having sex, make sure it's with someone you care about, and that you'll know won't leave you high and dry once it's done.
For everyone's sake, make sure you know all about SAFE SEX. There's nothing more important than using protection. No matter what your partner will say or think. Protection is the number one thing to remember when having sex.
It only takes one time to get pregnant, and one time to catch STDs. so whenever you feel you're ready, just make sure you really are.

I don't know if one could say the same thing about everybody- but it seems for me (I'm a woman, by the way), hormones were at their highest between the ages of 30 and 45.
