Can I use my Product Replacement Plan from Best Buy to trade my phat DS for a new DS Lite?

I got a 2 year Product Replacement Plan at Best Buy when I got my old DS, and I want to see if I could trade it for a DS Lite. It's valid until August of 2007, so will they change it if I tell them to or does it have to be defective?

nope. . nain. . .Replacement plans usually stipulate exchange for the same item. Unless discontinued by the manuf. then they might encourage substitution.
