God can be black say in paintings or other imagery if that is how you envision God. Nothing wrong with that. But God is really beyond catergorizing with human adjectives.

I think God is all things to all people--He appears to each person in the way they can best understand him. Of course, I'm a little out of the mainstream--I think He doesn't only belong to the Judeo-Christian people, but also to the Hindus, Buddhists, and any other legitimate religion that believes in a peaceful existence and in respecting others.

I don't know about color but what is all this God HE stuff?
IF we are all "made in the image of God", then God is male, female red, yellow, black, brown and ecru.
Or how about God is WHITE (not Caucasian, but the actual color) which contains all the colors of the spectrum. Conversely, God could be BLACK which absorbs all the spectrum's colors.

Yes and no and maybe sometimes. Trying to pin human logic to God is the fallacy of the human rationale. With knowledge so vast revealing the answer would blow up your brain. Relax in the mystery.

WHy does God have to be any one color? I would think he can be any color to anyone he wishes. His appearance may be how we WANT to preceive him.
